Technological maturity of the OECD countries: A multi-criteria decision-making approach using PROMETHEE

Measuring and assessing the degree of technological readiness at macro level is crucial in guiding overall development for countries. The problem multi-criteria nature, involving assessment consolidation over multiple dimensions. This study develops a composite index to measure basic maturity from supply chain integration perspective utilizes decision-making method PROMETHEE obtain ranking among 28 OECD Based on data metrics set availability, developed using 10 relevant metrics. Then comparative performed countries year 2019 under six different scenarios Visual PROMETHEE. original developing with corresponding metrics, providing evaluation across countries, offering comprehensive analysis utilizing almost all major visual tools results indicate that metric selected methodology applied provide systematic which enables country-based benchmarking dimensions enable policymakers identify improvement opportunities each dimension.
